Grapes – a gold mine

In Ukraine, growing grapes is more profitable than growing grain or sunflowers.

In 2017, the average profitability of grape production in Ukraine was 74.6%, compared to
37.8% for grain crops,
63% for sunflowers,
52% for soybeans, and
45% for rapeseed.

Grapes are second only to the following crops:
buckwheat — 87.5%,
berries — 104%, and
hops — 100.4%.
